It’s the 20-year anniversary of David Wain, Michael Ian Black, and Michael Showalter’s comedy trio, Stella, and to celebrate, David Wain released a new Stella short called “Rip Van Winkle†on Twitter today. In the short, Michael, Michael, and David wake up in a hotel room and immediately try to turn on Oprah and listen to “Semi-Charmed Life,†before realizing they’ve been asleep for 20 (or 21, depending on how you count) years. The short ends with a montage of some of their earliest clips set to none other than “Semi-Charmed Life.†This will be the second time you’ve heard that song in 24 hours, if you, too, were at karaoke last night.
