The comedy world has lost another beloved talent today. Variety is reporting that legendary insult comic Don Rickles has died. According to the report, Rickles passed away at his home in Los Angeles today due to kidney failure. Rickles was 90 years old.
Rickles’ comedy career stretches across six decades. He made his Tonight Show debut in 1965 and worked until the very end, having just landed a 10-episode order last month for a series called Dinner with Don, where he was slated to interview friends and comedians including Jimmy Kimmel, Amy Poehler, Billy Crystal, Paul Rudd, and Martin Scorsese.
