NBC just handed out a season renewal to one of its freshman comedies. According to The Wrap, the network has officially renewed Tracey Wigfield’s new comedy Great News, which stars Briga Heelan and Andrea Martin and was ordered to series last year. Currently airing its debut season on Tuesday nights, the series is co-executive produced by Tina Fey and also stars John Michael Higgins, Nicole Richie, Adam Campbell, and Kimrie Lewis-Davis.
