A Tina Fey and Robert Carlock-produced comedy pilot is not moving forward at NBC. According to Deadline, the network has officially passed on The Sackett Sisters, which was ordered to pilot back in January. Written by Brooklyn Nine-Nine’s Luke Del Tredici, the pilot starred Casey Wilson and Busy Philipps as two estranged sisters who “perform an act of public heroism and are forced to navigate the aftermath together.†Fey’s other NBC comedy, Great News, recently earned a season 2 renewal, while new pilots at the network from Mike O’Brien and Mindy Kaling were given series pickups last month.
