Ray Liotta has played dozens of crooked cops and creepy killers, but it was actually his vulnerability that inspired Martin Scorsese to cast the actor in his classic mob drama Goodfellas. Liotta, who currently stars in the NBC drama Shades of Blue, shared this backstory with Vulture Hollywood editor Stacey Wilson Hunt at a SAG-Aftra Foundation Conversations event in Los Angeles.
