The Good Place and Brooklyn Nine-Nine creator Mike Schur has two new shows in the works. According to Deadline, NBC is developing two shows executive produced by Schur. The first is an untitled half-hour musical comedy written by Good Place co-executive producers Josh Siegal and Dylan Morgan, set in New York City, and co-executive produced by Hamilton’s Jeffrey Seller. The second project, also untitled, is written by Superstore’s Josh Malmuth and is set in “an unlicensed bar that a woman runs out of her backyard.†Both shows have received put pilot commitments at NBC with “significant penalties†attached.
