October is turning out to be a very big month for New Girl writer/producer Kim Rosenstock. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Freeform is developing a half-hour comedy from Rosenstock and Paul Feig called Girls Code, which follows “an anti-social tech CEO and an outspoken feminist nonprofit warrior who must put aside their many issues with one another in order to mastermind a groundbreaking, all-women tech incubator.†The idea was originally brought to Rosenstock and Feig by Anonymous Content’s Joy Gorman Wettels, and Rosenstock is attached to write, while Feig is attached to direct if the project receives a pilot order. In addition to the Freeform show, Rosenstock also recently teamed up with Amy Poehler for a comedy in development at NBC about a single mother.
