Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg are keeping busy with another TV project. Variety reports that the two are developing a single-cam comedy at ABC created by 50/50 writer Will Reiser, who wrote and executive produces alongside Rogen and Goldberg. Here’s the logline for the untitled series:
The network has ordered a script with a penalty attached for the project, which follows Steve Strunsky, a 30-year-old liberal and perpetual bachelor from Berkeley. Steve has just moved to a small blue collar town in western Pennsylvania in order to be with his one true love, Grace Fitzgerald. Along with Grace’s father, a reactionary conservative, and her precocious, war obsessed 8-year-old, this colorful family is learning day by day how to build a life together despite their differences.
In addition to the ABC project, Rogen and Goldberg also have a Showtime pilot starring Don Cheadle and Andrew Rannells in the works, and their new Hulu series Future Man is slated to premiere next month.
