Joel McHale is getting back into the talk show game. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Netflix has ordered 13 episode of a weekly half-hour topical series hosted by McHale called The Joel McHale Show with Joel McHale. The show will “take a sharp, absurdist look at pop culture as well as news around the world” and feature “celebrity guests, comedy sketches and insane clips from the world of sports, politics and celebrity.” According to THR’s report, Netflix’s current plan for the series is to tape episodes every Thursday in Los Angeles then release them on Sundays. McHale’s former Soup head writer K.P. Anderson will serve as an executive producer on the series alongside McHale and Paul Feig. Thankfully, you won’t have to wait very long for The Joel McHale Show with Joel McHale – it’s slated to debut Sunday, February 18th on Netflix:
