And Now, a Brief Feud Between Kirstie Alley and the U.S. Men’s Curling Team

Kirstie Alley has somehow sped straight into the heart of a Twitter kerfuffle about curling, almost as if she had been slid across the ice and someone was sweeping in front of her. While many people might appreciate curling for the sense of calm it brings to your TV or the excuse to use it to play drinking games, Alley decided to announce that she found it boring.

In response to Alley’s mild comment on the sport, the U.S. men’s curling team decided to tell Alley that her movies weren’t very exciting either.

U.S. curler Matt Hamilton was kinder, telling Alley she was “entitled to her wrong opinion,†to which she responded with three smiley faces.

Finally, Alley promised that she would give the sport another chance because her son loves watching it.

This has been a journey into obscure winter sports with Kirstie Alley and the rest of the internet.
