Amber Ruffin and Jenny Hagel Return with More ‘Jokes Seth Can’t Tell’ on ‘Late Night’

Here’s a clip from last night’s Late Night, where Seth Meyers welcomes back writers Amber Ruffin and Jenny Hagel for a brand new edition of “Jokes Seth Can’t Tell.” The two crack jokes at all the recent news stories that Meyers can’t touch, including lesbian softball coaches and Olympic athletes, Stacey Dash running for Congress, and Billy Graham’s death: “Famously anti-gay pastor Billy Graham passed away last month,” Meyers says. “And I like to think he’s looking up at us right now,” Hagel adds. Of course, when the writers encourage Meyers to do an International Women’s Day joke at the end (“International Women’s Day is like a regular day, but less rational”), things don’t go as well as he expects.
