Before starring in All About Nina, a new film about a struggling stand-up comedian, Mary Elizabeth Winstead had to learn just how tough the comedy industry can be. Unfortunately for Winstead, that meant bombing onstage, in front of stone-faced extras. The movie’s leads, Winstead and Common, and director Eva Vives stopped by Vulture’s studio at the 2018 Tribeca Film Festival to discuss the awkwardness of those scenes.
