Matt Lauer, who was accused ofĀ sexual harassmentĀ and fired from NBC in 2017, thinks heā€™s going to be back on television sometime soon. According to ā€œPage Six,ā€ Lauer was dining at a restaurant in New York City when he told fans that he would be in front of cameras again soon.

ā€œIā€™ve been busy being a dad,ā€ Lauer reportedly said. ā€œBut donā€™t worry, Iā€™ll be back on TV.ā€

When Lauer wasĀ fired from NBC, the network attempted toĀ erase all tracesĀ of the former host, going so far as to demolish his office. It is safe to assume that he wonā€™t be making any possible comeback at 30 Rock.

Lauer hasnā€™t divulged exact details of his return to television, but this isnā€™t the first time there has been rumors of his return. Earlier in the year,Ā reports surfacedĀ that he was meeting with producers. He is one of many men revealed by the #MeToo movement as sexual predators toĀ attempt to make a returnĀ to the public sphere.Ā Charlie Rose,Ā Louis C.K., andĀ Lorin SteinĀ have all reportedly sought avenues back into their former careers.
