According to The Hollywood Reporter, the Marvel Cinematic Universe is about to get a fresh injection of A-list star power. The outlet is reporting that Angelina Jolie herself is in talks to join The Eternals, a Marvel superhero team movie that Chloe Zhao is directing. Marvel had no comment on who Jolie would play, and who knows, maybe we’ll never know. Not until her face pops up in a Marvel post-credits scene and we all briefly lose consciousness from shock. While THR points out that this will be Jolie’s first superhero film, this is a woman who has “playing Lara Croft†on her résumé, so yeah, she’ll be fine.
