Hank Azaria returns to IFC soon with the third season of Brockmire, and we have the first trailer for you right here. Renewed for a third and fourth season last year, the Azaria- and Amanda Peet–starring series adds some new regulars this year, including Martha Plimpton and Tawny Newsome, who join guest stars like J.K. Simmons and Richard Kind. Season three picks up three months after Brockmire’s stint in rehab, with him “doing play-by-play in the radio booth for the major leagues in central Florida during spring training while maintaining his brazen and narcissistic tendencies, despite actually being on the wagon.†Bob Costas, who once called Brockmire “a grade-A asshole,†also shows up in the trailer when Brockmire admits he gave him pink eye at the Sochi Olympics — but if you haven’t learned the real story about how that all went down, we’ve got you (thoroughly) covered. Catch the rest when season three of Brockmire heads to IFC Wednesday, April 3, at 10 p.m.
