The newly renovated Webster Hall will open on April 26 with Beyoncé’s husband, Jay-Z, as its first performer. The rapper will perform ‘B-Sides 2’ and make his first appearance at the 133-year-old East Village venue. Other big-name artists slated to perform in May are RosalÃa, MGMT, Patti Smith and Her Band, Dillon Francis, Sharon Van Etten, Sigrid, TroyBoi, Broken Social Scene, Chromeo, Big Thief, Real Estate, Old Dominion, and Empire of the Sun. Tickets for Jay-Z go on sale Thursday, April 18, for American Express members, and April 19 for the general public.
