Last week, a very big one for for extremely famous babies, Kim Kardashian West and Kanye West’s new son was born via surrogate. And finally, on Friday evening, the couple revealed his name — Psalm West — and shared a cute photo of the baby sleeping. The baby was born into the royal family of Calabasas via surrogate on Friday, May 10, joining his older siblings North (age 5), Saint (age 3), and Chicago (age 1). According to a tweet last week from Kardashian, the baby boy is “perfect.†In a Friday social media post, she shared the name, as well as some words from West: “Beautiful Mother’s Day / With the arrival of our fourth child / We are blessed beyond measure / We have everything we need.â€
News broke last week that the surrogate carrying Kardashian and West’s fourth child was in labor, just days after Kardashian appeared at the 2019 Met Gala in New York City. Late last month, Kardashian and her family celebrated the upcoming birth through a CBD-themed baby shower that focused on all things meditation and relaxation. Kardashian and West confirmed in January that they were expecting their fourth child — their second to be born via surrogate, after Kardashian endured difficult high-risk pregnancies (with dangerous complications, including preeclampsia) with her first two children. Congrats, you family of six!
