NBC has ordered a musical drama, Zoey’s Extraordinary Playlist, which stars Jane Levy as a woman who hears people’s innermost thoughts in song. Levy plays Zoey Clarke, a coder in San Francisco. “After an unusual event she starts to hear the innermost wants and desires of the people around her through songs,†NBC’s Stuart Levine said in a press release. “At ï¬rst, she questions her own sanity but soon realizes this unwanted curse may just be an incredibly wonderful gift.†Paul Feig is attached as one of the producers, under his FeigCo Entertainment shingle. The show will also feature Pitch Perfect’s Skylar Astin, Mary Steenburgen, Peter Gallagher, and Peter Gallagher’s eyebrows.
