It’s more like D.C. has been on fire for a very long time and now, like with the reactor in Chernobyl, Democrats are trying to figure out how to build a giant cement sarcophagus around the actively melting radioactive core. Amidst increasing calls for impeachment and Trump responding with an impromptu press conference, Seth Meyers had a lot to deal with on Wednesday night’s Late Night. Luckily his ‘A Closer Look’ segment managed to cover all the big bases: bad graphic design, swearing on the news, and the common understanding that if Trump calls you a loser, it’s just because he’s a real cranky old dude.
