Consider this: “Prince Ali,†the crazy, big, upbeat song you know from Aladdin, but stripped of most of those qualities. Disney has released a clip of Will Smith’s version of “Prince Ali†from Guy Ritchie’s upcoming live-action version of Aladdin, and you can see very well how that turned out. Hey, at least Will Smith isn’t horrifyingly massive and blue for most of it? And Nasim Pedrad seems to be having fun playing Jasmine’s new handmaiden? Also, the ostriches look cool, I guess? Aladdin stumbles into theaters May 24.
