“Boom, clap!” is the sound of the film slate for Charli XCX’s next feature. Variety reports that the Brat superstar is collaborating with A24 for an upcoming film called The Moment—of course, that’s the name; she is the moment. The film is based on an idea created by Charli and will be the first movie from her new production company, Studio365. Aidan Zamiri and Bertie Brandes wrote the script, and the former will direct the picture. 2AM’s David Hinojosa, Brandon Creed, Mikey Schwartz-Wright, and Zach Nutman are a part of the producing team. Details on the plot are sparse, but if its anything like Brat, it’ll take over an entire season. Charli is very much in her movie era; she’s starring in six upcoming films: 100 Nights of Hero, Erupcja, Faces of Death, I Want Your Sex, Sacrifice, and The Gallerist. But this time, she’s the mastermind of the silver screen. Which is the brattest you could possibly be.
