Another Agatha Christie novel will be coming to the small screen in a new adaptation being co-produced by Amazon Prime Video and the BBC. The two part miniseries will be an adaptation of Christie’s 1961 novel The Pale Horse. The story involves a trio of rumored witches and a list of names in a dead woman’s shoe, in case you were on the fence about it. And while it’s still too early to know just who may be in the cast, Sarah Phelps will be the writer adapting the story. This is Phelps’s fifth time adapting one of Christie’s stories, having done so for the very sleek three-part adaptation of Ordeal by Innocence, which debuted on Amazon last year, among others. So brush off your fancy detective kits, mystery fans! And if you don’t have a fancy detective kit, a glass of port will do.
