Dave Chappelle is going to Broadway, baby! The comedian will make his Broadway debut next month in a limited, weeklong run of stand-up performances at the Lunt-Fontanne Theatre. The five performances will take place from Tuesday, July 9, through Saturday, July 13, and tickets to the general public are slated to go on sale Friday, June 21, at 10 a.m. ET. As is usually the case with Chappelle’s live performances, the press release notes that there’s a strict policy against cell-phone usage, and anyone whose phone isn’t locked up in a pouch will be “immediately ejected.†You’ve been warned!

Chappelle’s most recent stand-up specials, The Bird Revelation and Equanimity, debuted on Netflix on New Year’s Eve in 2017. Last month it was also announced that Chappelle will receive this year’s Mark Twain Prize for American Humor in a ceremony at the Kennedy Center in late October, which will air on television in January 2020. So, yeah, you could say 2019 is already a pretty big year for Mr. Chappelle, a.k.a. Will Smith’s stand-up teacher.
