For over 30 years, the video game Final Fantasy has kept gamers of all kinds entertained and pretty soon, they can just sit back and watch the adventures unfold. Sony Pictures Television and production company Hivemind (The Expanse) are set to develop a television show based on the iconic game. Out of 14 main series installments, the show will be an original story inspired by Final Fantasy XIV. All of the mythology, including magitek, beastmen, airships, and chocobos will feature alongside both new and old characters. The Final Fantasy television show adds onto a legacy of manga, anime, and CGI films. The only difference is that the show will be live action. All of the magic and wonder of Eorzea, now in human-form.
