Rapper, movie producer, and Little Future’s father, Future, dropped his first project since January’s album The WIZRD on Thursday night. The seven-track EP features “Xanax Damage†and “Government Official,†which he previewed on his Instagram. It also includes songs “St. Lucia,†“Please Tell Me,†“Shotgun,†“Extra,†and “Love Thy Enemies.†Future teased Save Me earlier this week with a now-classic Instagram overhaul and new cover imagery. The 35-year-old rapper must stay in the studio because Save Me comes just six months after his last album, The Wizrd, and less than three months after his feature on Nav’s deluxe album Bad Habits. Soon after the midnight release, fans started to speculate that Future sampled ex-fiancée Ciara’s song “Promise†on “Shotgun.†It’s unconfirmed but, to be honest, not unlike the rapper to be a little shady. The EP drop comes just days after Ciara appeared on Red Table Talk with Jada Pinkett Smith. Compare the two songs and listen to the entire record now.
