Drake Can’t Let the NBA Finals Go on Rick Ross’s New Single, ‘Gold Roses’

We are entering month two of Drake’s NBA Finals Pride Fest. On Rick Ross’s new single, “Gold Roses,” the noted Torontonian alluded to Kevin Durant’s Game 5 injury, saying “All smiles, Kevin Durant trials/Had to blow it on the court, I must of blew a milli’/I’m walkin’ on all charges, that’s my new Achilles.” This is the second joint venture between Rick Ross and Drake since that fateful Game 6. Last month, the duo released “Money in the Grave,” on Drake’s The Best in the World Pack. Ross’s album, Port of Miami 2, comes out August 9. “Gold Roses” serves as that album’s first official single.
