It’s been two long years since the finale of Ricky and Morty’s Emmy-winning third season, and the animated spawn of co-creators Dan Harmon and Justin Roiland will finally return this November. Such a long gap between seasons means one of the most intense fandoms in all of television has spent a long time sitting and waiting for new content, and during a Friday panel at San Diego Comic-Con, they finally got a peak at what’s to come. In the brief new clip, Morty and his dad are demanding that an alien app-developer named Glootie (voiced by Taika Waititi) deactivate an app he’s helped launch. Things aren’t going well, since Glootie allegedly has to access a server and that server is on a mothership somewhere and … well, it will likely all make sense when season four hits. Hopefully Morty doesn’t have a complete breakdown trying to get this app taken down.
