A new Star Wars series is getting a familiar face. Deadline reports that Ewan McGregor will reprise his role as Obi-Wan Kenobi for the previously reported Disney+ series focusing on the character. The actor is on record from 2017 saying “I’d be happy to do it if they wanted to do it,†in regards to him putting on those old Jedi robes again. As with so many early-stage projects under the Saga umbrella, few details are available about the story at this time, but you at least know exactly what to expect with McGregor in the lead role. Since, you know, you had three feature-length films and that voice cameo from Force Awakens to get used to his Obi-Wan already.
