Midge Maisel is hitting the road this December. Today Amazon released a teaser trailer for the upcoming third season of Amy Sherman-Palladino’s comedy series The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, and it reveals a few things about the next batch of episodes. For instance, there’s a blink-and-you’ll-miss-it sneak peek of the character Sterling K. Brown recently signed on to play earlier this year. There’s also confirmation that we’ll be seeing more of Jane Lynch’s character Sophie Lennon, and Midge’s parents (Marin Hinkle and Tony Shalhoub) will be spending some more waterfront leisure time (here’s hoping for more rompers). Most importantly, Mrs. Maisel herself learns what it’s like to be a working comedian on tour, as evidenced by her performing stand-up in all kinds of locations — even in front of some military men.
