Wu-Tang may be for the children, but have they made any cartoons to prove it? Migos’ Quavo has teamed up with Imagine Entertainment co-founder Brian Grazer to create a children’s animated program based in part on the Atlanta music scene. According to Complex, Quality Control’s Pierre “Peeâ€Â Thomas and Kevin “Coach Kâ€Â Lee will produce with Dan Altmann, as well as Capitol Music Group’s Brian Nolan and Ryan Allingham. Coach K said that he was excited to make a kids’ show in which all kinds of children can see themselves represented: “When I was growing up, there was very little media that had brown- and black-skinned kids feeling heard or seen, and the ones that did stood out and served as a crucial road map through our childhoods. I’m about inclusive stories that address all kinds of situations that kids of ALL ethnic and financial backgrounds experience and to give them a common tool to learn and grow.†As a lifelong animation fan, Quavo expressed excitement that his show would showcase North Atlanta. The show will launch alongside new music and merch.
