Early-2000’s nostalgia rages on. The very first look at The L Word: Generation Q is here! Jennifer Beals, Kate Moennig, and Leisha Hailey are back, looking like a decade hasn’t passed at all. In sunny Silver Lake, California, instead of sunny West Hollywood, Bette, Alice, and Shane are joined by a new generation (Generation Q, if you will) played by Arienne Mandi, Micah Lee, Jacqueline Toboni, Rosanny Zayas, and Sepideh Moafi. They’ll deal with the same old trials of love, but hopefully a lot less straight people. The teaser trailer doesn’t give away all the goods; just sweet reunions and introductions. Oh, also Bette’s running for mayor of Los Angeles? That won’t complicate things! The LGBTQ series will be out and proud December 8 on Showtime.
