We have some good news, some bad news, and some good or bad news, BoJack Horseman fans. Are you ready for it? Sit down if you need to – it’s a lot to take in. Okay, we’ll ease you in with the good news: Netflix announced today that the sixth season of the beloved animated series, which was renewed last year, finally has a premiere date: Friday, October 25. The bad news? The season was written and produced as the final season of the show, which means the upcoming run of episodes will be the show’s swan (horse?) song. The third bit of news – which is either good or bad, depending on how long you want BoJack’s goodbye season to last – is that the sixth season will be released in two batches, with the first eight episodes dropping on October 25, and the final eight episodes not premiering on Netflix until Friday, January 31, 2020.
Netflix also released the first trailer for the season today, which picks up where season five left off with BoJack trying to better himself at rehab and being really, really good at writing letters.
