Joaquin Phoenix’s interview on The Tonight Show didn’t reach Letterman levels of insanity, but it went as well as you’d expect for a delightful kook who still hasn’t seen his new Joker movie: Jimmy Fallon eventually leaves the stage thanks to Phoenix being unamused by his inadequate Joker description (don’t worry, they’re pals), only for them to switch places and continue their chat like nothing happened. Also, thanks to the powers of Two Truths and a Lie, we find out that Phoenix has watched Step Brothers more than any other movie. And that his nickname definitely is not “kitten.�
