Psychological phenomenon alert! John Krasinski and Ryan Reynolds, noted BFFs, are in talks to star alongside each other in a new fantastical comedy titled Imaginary Friends. Per THR, the film follows a man who can see and speak to other people’s nonexistent pals, however, “some imaginary friends, lacking love and friendship, turn to the dark side.†(Murder? Cocaine? Nominating Dave Matthews Band for the Rock Hall?) As such, it’s up to Reynolds’s character to “save the world from those that become evil.†Should negotiations go according to plan, Krasinski will also pull a triple threat as a writer, director, and co-star.
