All the Best Looks at Last Night’s CFDA Awards
Last night’s Council of Fashion Designers of America Awards were held, for the first time, at the Natural History Museum. Amid the dinosaur artifacts, guests like Jenna Lyons, Kim Kardashian, and Anne Hathaway, the night’s host, presented awards to fashion’s innovators. Among the winners were Catherine Holstein of Khaite for American Womenswear Designer of the Year, Willy Chavarria of his namesake brand for American Menswear Designer of the Year, Ashley and Mary-Kate Olsen of The Row for the American Accessories Designer of the Year, and Rachel Scott of Diotima for Shop with Google American Emerging Designer of the Year. Also, Serena Williams was named Fashion Icon, presented by Kim Kardashian, and Demi Moore gave the Innovation Award presented by Amazon Fashion to Gwyneth Paltrow, CEO of Goop.
