Bob Bryar, former My Chemical Romance drummer, died at the age of 44, reports TMZ. He was reportedly found dead in his home in Tennessee on Tuesday, November 26. No foul play is suspected, and the cause of death is being investigated. A spokesperson for MCR told Vulture, “The band asks for your patience and understanding as they process the news of Bob’s passing.†Bryar joined the band in 2004, shortly after releasing Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge, and replaced Matt Pelissier. He first met MCR when he was the sound engineer for The Used, and the two were on tour together. He was the band’s longest-tenured drummer and worked on The Black Parade and Danger Days: The True Lives of the Fabulous Killjoys before departing from the band in 2010. After working with other bands post-MCR, he eventually left music altogether in 2014, transitioning into real estate and volunteering with animals.
