Charlie Puth didn’t let a Saturday marriage stop him from having Sunday Service. Per Vogue, Puth’s September 7 wedding ceremony with Brooke Sansone featured performances by Ye’s gospel group. Puth and Sansone began dating in June 2022, but they grew up together in New Jersey. According to Sansone, she and Puth inadvertently included the same line in their vows: “It’s always been you.†As Sansone walked down the aisle at the Puth family home in Montecito, California, guests were reportedly surprised with the Sunday Service Choir’s rendition of Aerosmith’s “I Don’t Want to Miss a Thing.†After the couple said “I do†and had their first kiss as husband and wife, the Sunday Service Choir also sang “Ain’t No Mountain High Enough†by Marvin Gaye and Tammi Terrell. It’s not clear how involved Ye still is with the Sunday Service, which the U.S. Sun reported last month has lost its charity status. Still, we wonder if even just a past association would be enough for a certain someone to no longer want to declare that Puth should be a bigger artist.
