In the decade since Gigi Hadid broke onto the fashion scene as one of the first Insta-models, documenting the ins and outs of her glamorous and fast-moving career online, she’s maintained an approachable authenticity that makes her easy to root for. Looking back at the best outfits of her career, it’s clear her sense of style carries the same spirit. While she is a chameleon on the runway and the red carpet, never afraid to try a daring look and delivering some of the best dresses of all time, it’s her off-duty style that keeps us coming back. She looks just as good in jeans and a T-shirt walking out of her apartment in New York City as she does hosting Netflix’s Next in Fashion or attending the Met Gala. Okay, maybe not just as good as, for example, the floral Thom Browne gown she wore to the 2024 Met Gala. But when Hadid shows up in Guest in Residence cashmere hoodies, ripped jeans, and loafers, her slightly quirky but always comfortable style becomes enviably clear. (Remember, this is a woman who decorated her kitchen with brightly dyed dried pasta. She’s not afraid to embrace what makes her happy.)
