Part of growing up is giving your girls a little smooch sometimes, we’d say. Just a little peck! Nothing too serious! The young internet apparently learned of this phenomenon in 2025, when former Jessie co-stars Josie Totah and Karan Brar posted a video on the potentially soon-to-be-banned TikTok cuddling up and havin’ a little kiss. News of the two former Disney stars “dating” went viral and the kids turned adults who watched Jessie responded in turn — one post with the news has over 400,000 likes. But it was all a dream. Totah posted a follow-up TikTok in which she simply repeated the words “It was a joke” over and over. The comments on the video are filled with confusion that “the kiss looked so real.” It can be both real and a joke. If a doll can’t platonically kiss her bisexual friend in peace, then what is this world coming to?
