Baby, she ainât goinâ away! Katy Perry is back with âLifetimes,â the second offering from her upcoming album, 143. The house-inflected track (âWalking on Air,â anybody?) is dedicated to her daughter, Daisy, with Perry singing, âI know you feel it / Can you believe it? / Iâm gonna love you till the end / And then repeat it.â In the video, Perry parties it up in Barcelona, where she first debuted âLifetimesâ in July. Sheâs hoping it can bring that pulse to her own beat back to 143 after the collapse of lead single âWomanâs World.â That trackâs lifetime as a single comes in at 28 days, after it was roundly criticized, written off as satire, and only peaked at No. 63. (Not even a woman being nominated for president could save it.) Like âWomanâs World, âLifetimesâ is also produced by Dr. Luke, who Kesha accused of sexual assault. Fun beat, though!
