Babe, wake up and put on your eyeliner. Linkin Park is back! For the first time in seven years, Linkin Park has made some big announcements. Firstly, they are introducing two new members into the band: Dead Sara’s Emily Armstrong as co-vocalist and Colin Brittain as drummer (who’s worked with G Flip, Illenium, and One OK Rock as a songwriter and producer.) In a statement shared with the press, Mike Shinoda elaborated on the band’s new era, seven years after the death of their lead singer Chester Bennington, “The more we worked with Emily and Colin, the more we enjoyed their world-class talents, their company, and the things we created. We feel really empowered with this new lineup and the vibrant and energized new music we’ve made together. We’re weaving together the sonic touchpoints we’ve been known for and still exploring new ones.†They’ll be debuting their new sound with their upcoming album From Zero, out on November 15.

Their first single together, “The Emptiness Machine,†is streaming now.

If the news of the new Linkin Park has already calmed your little emo heart, giving you a sense of peace and tranquility, I’m so sorry to be the one to break this to you— the band is going on tour starting next week, and tickets go on sale this weekend. Has someone warned Ticketmaster yet?
