Though, Laid takes an unconventional approach to the whole romance thing; Hsu plays a woman who, before she can move forward with a new lover, is forced to go back through her exes as she realizes they’re dying. Zosia Mamet joins Hsu as her best friend while Michael Angarano, Tommy Martinez, Finneas O’Connell, Simu Liu, Kate Berlant, and more also co-star. (Streaming December 19.)
