The eight main acts, Mary J. Blige, Cher, Dave Matthews Band, Foreigner, Peter Frampton, Kool & the Gang, Ozzy Osbourne, and A Tribe Called Quest, will be inducted as performers, while Alexis Korner, John Mayall, Big Mama Thornton, Jimmy Buffett, MC5, Dionne Warwick, Norman Whitfield, and Suzanne de Passe will also get in thanks to the help of special categories. Like last year, the Rock Hall will be livestreamed coast-to-coast on Disney+ starting at 7 p.m. ET and will remain available to watch on the platform following the ceremony. (If you don’t already have Disney+, annoyingly, it recently increased its prices.) And if you refuse to subscribe to another service, there’s a second option where patience will be a virtue: ABC will air a condescended prime-time special of the ceremony on January 1, which will focus on performance highlights and standout moments.
