Taylor Swift responded to a stabbing during a children’s dance class set to her music in the English town of Southport. “The horror of yesterday’s attack in Southport is washing over me continuously, and I’m just completely in shock,†Swift wrote on her Instagram Story. “The loss of life and innocence, and the horrendous trauma inflicted on everyone who was there, the families and first responders. These were just little kids at a dance class. I am at a complete loss for how to ever convey my sympathies to these families.†Three children died in the attack, while five more children and two adults are in critical condition, per the BBC. A 17-year-old boy has since been arrested for murder. The event was a Swift-themed dance and yoga class in western England. Swift plays a run of shows in London in just over two weeks, beginning August 15.
