The Best Looks From the Met Gala After-Parties
Fashion’s biggest night has come and gone. The Metropolitan Museum Costume Institute’s “Sleeping Beauties: Reawakening Fashion” theme may have been a backup plan, but it gave us looks like Tyla’s gorgeous sculpted sands-of-time gown and Doja Cat’s wet T-shirt, while the very on-theme chants of “Free Palestine” could be heard just outside. Sadly, Rihanna called in sick, but co-chair Zendaya blessed us with not one but three separate looks.
Zendaya wasn’t the only one making outfit changes. After enjoying a performance by Ariana Grande inside the Met, celebrities swapped their ball gowns for some more edgy looks as they headed to Usher’s “Secret Garden” party, FKA Twigs’s Boom Met Gala Party, and the Après Met 2 Met Gala After-Party, among others. While there may not have been many boyfriends on the Met Gala carpet, Offset joined Cardi B for the after-party circuit and Kendall Jenner was spotted cozying up to her ex, Bad Bunny.
