Adam Millward, Audience Council member, Yorkshire

Adam Millward is a Solicitor at Sheffield City Council dealing with all work involving children and safeguarding. This brings him into contact with members of the public from a diverse range of backgrounds, ethnicity, cultural backgrounds, faiths and abilities.  He has developed an understanding of these different communities.  He also works with other volunteers running an LGBT networking group in Sheffield and South Yorkshire.

He uses BBC content across all platforms on a daily basis.  For news he prefers the BBC News channel, bulletins at breakfast and 10pm.  He also accesses the websites for news. He mainly watches BBC One and Two, but also enjoys original content on BBC Three and imported drama on BBC Four.  He listens to Radio 2 and Radio 4 and particularly enjoys Radio 4’s schedule on a Saturday. He is an occasional listener to BBC Radio Sheffield. His hobbies include cooking and baking, and competing in marathons and half marathons.
