DANNY: Hey, I'm Danny, and welcome to Let's do this, where we will get active together.
This activity is called I Can Jump Higher. This is a great game for developing your jumping power.
You will need a partner, sheet paper and sticky tape or animal stickers.
You can do this on your own, but I've got Lily to help show you.
Step one, place various animal markers on a wall which are higher than your height. Each should represent a different animal. Can you jump as high a monkey, a lion?
Step two, you then should stand side on and jump vertically, and mark where you hit the wall with one hand.
Step three, repeat this and see if you can move your marker up the wall.
Let's do this!
NARRATOR: Too tough?
DANNY: Too tough? Move the markers to a lower level which is easier to reach.
If you can't jump, why not try throwing a ball, aiming to hit the different markers?
NARRATOR: Go up a notch?
DANNNY: Want to develop your skills? Place the markers higher, giving you a greater height to jump. Can you jump as high as a gazelle?
You can hop or jump without driving arms up.
It is good for you to compare techniques and see which is most effective.
NARRATOR: Danny's challenge.
DANNNY: My challenge is for you to try to jump higher each time you complete the task.
NARRATOR: Final thoughts.
DANNY: Amazing jumping power on display today. Can you think of any other activities where jumping high might be useful?

Create animal markers by drawing animals or writing their names on pieces of paper. You can use stickers if you prefer. Place them on a wall, making sure they are placed higher than your height. Remember to ask for permission to stick anything on a wall!

Stand side on to the wall and get into a crouching position.

Jump as high as you can and tap the marker you reach. Can you jump higher than a monkey or a lion? If you can't jump, try throwing a ball aiming to hit the different markers.
