Presidents’ Day has come and gone, but unsurprisingly, many of the sales are still going. Here, I’ve rounded up all of the very best deals that are still live — including plenty of mattress sales. Most of these deals truly end tonight, so I wouldn’t hold out on shopping much longer. To make shopping the sales easier, I’ve divided the deals into categories like fashion, home, and tech — just use the links to the left to go straight to that section, then browse by retailer. For retailers that sell products in a variety of categories, like Amazon and Nordstrom, I’ve included them in each relevant section to ensure you see all the best deals, no matter what you’re shopping for.

Deals I Personally Think Are the Best
My favorite kind of J.Crew sales are sales-on-sale; they happen very infrequently and the discounts are very steep. The kids’ Kindle didn’t go on sale for Black Friday last year, and 22 percent off is a good deal on it. And our best-overall bath mat is only $20 and comes in over 30 colors.
Fashion
A lot of brands, like J.Crew, Madewell, and Nordstrom, have sales that aren’t specifically for Presidents’ Day but that last through the holiday, so I’m counting them here. And Levi’s has a great deal on jeans right now.
Backcountry’s end-of-season sale has tons of deals on Cotopaxi, Patagonia, the North Face, and more for up to 50 percent off. Some standouts: a fleecy Denali jacket, the Patagonia backpack the art world is obsessed with, and our best seat pad for hiking.
Select styles are up to 40 percent off, including an on-trend cross-body bag, a $15 tank top, and a half-zip blouse that our fashion writer is eyeing.
There’s an (almost) sitewide sale at Glasses USA, with 40 percent off prescription glasses. Sadly, there are some exceptions — premium brands like Ray-Ban and Prada are not included — but there is free shipping on all frames with the code USA40.
Select styles are on sale for J.Crew’s Pre-Spring Event; most are 40 percent off, but discounts vary. There’s a lot of spring-ready apparel on sale, including a now-$65 beach cover-up that writer Lauren Ro just purchased for an upcoming vacation. And if you don’t mind digging, already on-sale styles are an extra 50 percent off with the code SHOPNOW. For even more, see our fashion writer’s roundup of all the best deals from J.Crew Pre-Spring Event.
Levi’s makes so many of our favorite jeans, and all of them are up to 40 percent off (no code needed) through February 18. Plus, already-on-sale styles are an extra 40 percent off at checkout, and both outerwear and kids’ products are 50 percent off.
Madewell is offering an extra 30 percent off already on-sale items with the code SALEONSALE through Tuesday night, and some clearance denim items are an extra 50 percent off with the same code. This is the same discount we saw Madewell offer last Presidents’ Day weekend, and from what I can tell, it’s the main sale they’re offering this year, too.
It’s not officially for Presidents’ Day, but Nordstrom just added a lot of new deals — mostly in the women’s fashion section — to its sales bin. I found plenty of things discounted by 40 percent off or more, including a Béis travel tote and men’s Vejas sneakers.
Again, this isn’t technically a Presidents’ Day sale, but REI has added a lot of new markdowns to its deals section. A ton of raincoats and winter boots are on sale.
Skims just added a lot of new items to its sale section. Most deals are up to 50 percent off, but some items are discounted even more, like the sarong Ro just bought for her upcoming beach vacation (now 60 percent off).
Stutterheim’s ultraelegant raincoats are up to 50 percent off for its winter sale, which is an excellent (and rare) deal for the brand.
Beauty
While heavy hitters like Sephora and Ulta don’t seem to be having specific Presidents’ Day sales, they have added a bunch of new picks to their sales sections (and increased some existing discounts). I also found a nice mix of makeup, skin care, and hair-care products on sale at Dr. Brandt, Fresh, and Nordstrom.
Take 25 percent off sitewide with the code WITHLOVE through February 19. Rio Viera-Newton likes the brand’s acne-safe primer, and the (recently redesigned but not reformulated) Renewing Face Exfoliator is one of our favorite face scrubs.
Until February 28, there’s 25 percent off sitewide at Fresh. That means you have until the end of the month to shop some of our favorites, such as Julia Garner’s favorite gentle face wash or the ultra-hydrating overnight mask. Those who spend over $150 also get a free gift with purchase — nice!
If you’re feeling luxurious, head to Nordstrom. I found some travel-friendly Malin+Goetz and several mascaras.
At Sephora, I spotted new additions to the sale section, such as almost every iteration of Marc Jacobs’s Daisy. There are also reductions on makeup-bag staples, like a limited-edition Beauty Blender and Urban Decay setting spray.
Our love for K-beauty is well documented, and right now, plenty of our favorites are up to 40 percent off in the Soko Glam “steals” section.
There are two particularly interesting deals at Ulta right now. It’s celebrating “Lash Day” until the 22nd, which means savings on plenty of mascaras, lash serums, and falsies.
Home
If you’re on the hunt for a vacuum, Amazon has got you covered with Dysons, Mieles, and more. I’ve also found good deals on our favorite inexpensive pillows.
Article’s Presidents’ Day sale is a bit better than its normal 20 to 30 percent off deal. Through February 18, take up to 40 percent off select sofas, dining tables, bed frames, and more. For even more, see my roundup of all the best Presidents’ Day–sale deals.
Normally, Brooklinen offers a blanket discount across its entire site for holidays, but this time, you can find some discounts up to 25 percent off. Bundles are even cheaper, at up to 50 percent off. This is one of the longest-running Presidents’ Day sales this year: You have through February 19 to shop.
There are deals for both heavy and light packers at Calpak. I spotted half-off its sweet tasseled backpack, as well as a two-piece luggage set for less than $400. But I think that the absolute best deal has to be 45 percent off a Calpak starter kit — it contains a carry-on case, a check-in case, a luggage tag, and five packing cubes for less than $300. Bargain!
Take 25 percent off sitewide and 40 percent off select items with the code PRESIDENT25 through Tuesday night. That extra-deep discount applies to both our best-overall bath mat and jersey sheets. And our bedding writer’s all-time favorite down comforter is over $100 off.
Cozy Earth — where we find plenty of our favorite soft things — is offering up to 25 percent off sitewide until the 23rd of February. I spotted a 20 percent discount on its best-selling luxe towels, as well as writer Rachael Griffiths’s favorite waffled bathrobe.
Ettitude makes very nice bamboo bedding, including our favorite cooling sheets and duvet cover, and it’s all 20 percent off.
Another holiday means it’s time again to get a great deal on a number of Strategist-tested mattresses — and we even have some exclusive discount codes just for our readers, too. Sleep writer Amelia Jerden found all of the best Presidents’ Day mattress sales here.
Nordstrom has quite a few house linens for 40 percent off, as well as some handsome candle holders.
Everything is 20 percent off, no code needed, through February 18. The cooling eucalyptus sheets are “so smooth and slippery,” according to our former senior editor Chelsea Peng, who says she can barely feel the difference in texture between her silk pillowcase and these sheets.
Through February 20, orders over $1,000 are 20 percent off when you use the code MORNINGSONG. You’re spoiled for choice in the couch department, as they make both our best slipcover couch and our most stylish sleeper sofa. Writer Tembe Denton-Hurst is currently coveting the brand’s dining banquette.
If you’re in the mood to do some serious sifting, a huge selection of furnishings, storage solutions, and mattresses are up to 70 percent off at Wayfair.
Kitchen
Some of our favorite kitchen brands are discounting their pots and pans, knives, and pantry staples for Presidents’ Day. And some of our favorite Nutribullet blenders are on sale too.
Asian food retailer Bokksu is offering up to 40 percent off a range of savory snacks, sodas, and candies.
Through February 18, you can take up to 39 percent off nontoxic deluxe cookware and bakeware bundles at Caraway. For those who have been considering investing in its huge favorites bundle, this amounts to a saving of around $600.
Everything at Hedley & Bennett is 20 percent off with the code ENJOY20 through Monday night. (There are a few exceptions, like the Essential apron in shades Denver and midnight blue and the smock in blueberry.) The brand is known for its chef-approved aprons (that we very much like), but don’t snooze on its knives and other kitchen utensils.
Grab up to 30 percent off sitewide through February at Our Place. While I’m used to seeing its pots and cookware discounted, this month it’s extended the discount to its appliances — which is a rarity.
All of Nutribullet’s excellent blenders are 20 percent off with the code PRESBLEND20 through February 18. Our managing editor, Kelsie Schrader, likes the Pro 900, which she says makes perfectly silky smoothies in less than a minute (and is available in a sleek all-matte-black).
Tech
The only tech deals still lingering are at Amazon, but they’re good ones. I’m eyeing the half off Beats, and the Strategist-approved Kindle for kids (that adults love, too) is on sale for the first time since Prime Day.
I noticed plenty of discounts on headphones as well as the kids’ Kindle (that adults love, too) on sale for the first time in months.
Kids and Babies
A lot of baby gear, particularly pricey baby monitors and strollers, are on sale for the long weekend. For elementary-age and above, most deals I found are on clothing; I suggest Nordstrom or Primary for the best deals.
Amazon is price-matching basically every baby brand’s Presidents’ Day sales — including Skip Hop’s Strategist-approved play mats and a lightweight Uppababy stroller.
In Nordstrom’s kids’ section, I spotted our best convertible car seat and an adorable Mini Boden cardigan. The retailer is also price-matching most of the deals from Primary’s end-of-season sale.
Primary has a few different deals going on. New arrivals are 20 percent off, puffers and outerwear are 40 percent off, and last season’s apparel is up to 60 percent off.
