The formulas are known for being lightweight, good under makeup, and moisturizing — a combination that can be difficult to come by. This one, from Neogen, has been a Strategist favorite since 2019, when it was recommended by Evan of the Dewy Dudes because it “checks all the boxes of what grown-up sunblock should be.” The formula has an SPF factor of 50 and is packed with plant extracts like aloe and avocado that help to moisturize and calm skin. Typically, a bottle will run you $32, a touch more expensive than Supergoop (our favorite for oily skin), but it’s currently half-off, which we think is a very good deal.
