For this week’s Don’t Dillydally, we’ve rounded up a range of newly released products we’re particularly excited about, including new glossy lip balms from Naturium, another collection from Ecco and Natasha Ramsay-Levi, and shimmery socks from the Bombas x Wicked collaboration.
Parachute Flannel Collection
Parachute, which makes some of our favorite cotton-percale sheets, has expanded into flannel. The ultracozy material is brushed on both sides for a velvety feel and comes in two neutral, heathered hues. And if the sheets aren’t enough, there’s pillowcases, a sham set, and a quilt too.
Naturium the Moody Collection
Naturium’s popular lip balm is now available in three moody, berry-toned shades. The moisturizing balm is made with shea and cupuaçu butter along with squalane oil — a moisturizing combination that gives lips a glossy sheen.
Hill House the Tartan Capsule
Hill House is launching three capsules for fall, and we’re currently on the second: tartan. This drop applies the festive pattern to various Hill House silhouettes, including the ubiquitous Nap Dress, a garment our friends at the Cut once described as “a little modest and a little sexy.”
Wicked x Bombas
Wicked is running the Barbie playbook and releasing a spate of collaborations timed to the movie’s release. There’s a lot to wade through, but this collab with Strategist-favorite Bombas caught our eye. Classic styles have gotten a glitzy, shimmery makeover in the iconic Wicked color palette.
Natasha Ramsay-Levi x Ecco
Designer Natasha Ramsay-Levi has collaborated with Ecco again. The last time they released a collaboration, it produced the Ecco ballet sneakers, which, after spotting them on Chloë Sevigny, set the Strategist Slack chat alight. Those are still incredibly difficult to find, but this drop does have a shoe with a very similar silhouette, albeit without laces.
Algae Cooking Club Infused Oil
Algae club released two new infused flavors of its fermented oil: gochugaru chili oil and shiitake mushroom — perfect for spicing up eggs or flavoring broth.
Still Life With Remorse, by Maira Kalman
I can’t afford expensive originals, so I often collect coffee-table books of my favorite artists’ works as a consolation prize. They also make great gifts. Adding to that list: Still Life With Remorse, by Maira Kalman, the same artist who published Women Holding Things. This one is being billed as her “most autobiographical book yet,” tracing her family’s immigration story through writing juxtaposed with original paintings.
Grandma Moses x the Six Bells
The Six Bells collaborated with folk artist Grandma Moses on a collection of homewares that looks like stuff you might find at Newburgh Vintage Emporium. There’s needlepoint pillows, mugs, puzzles and a candle, all of which will imbue your space with rustic charm.
Block Shop Alice Dress
Block Shop is known for its prints and textiles applied to homewares and made into prints. And now: dresses. The Alice dress is inspired by the work of artist Alice Trumbull Mason. The throw-on frock is great for easy outfit-making and has a flowy, tented silhouette the brand says is “airy but not billowy.”
Clare Waight Keller x Reformation
Reformation released a collection of demi-fine jewelry with designer Clare Waight Keller. All of the pieces are made with recycled 24-karat gold and 925 silver and are inspired by vintage styles and silhouettes.
John Derian for Target Thanksgiving Collection
We’ve already written about the John Derian Thanksgiving collection, but this is a reminder that there are still some pieces available. While the beaded turkey pillow (shockingly expensive on resale) is fully sold out, you can still zhuzh up your tablescape with this serving platter, which has a textured corn-on-the-cob print.
Loop Dream
We’ve been recommending the Loop Quiet earplugs for sleeping, but now the brand has released earplugs designed specifically for sleep (the Quiet are recommended for travel and napping). These offer maximum noise reduction and a closed loop shape that reduces pressure on the ear.
The Strategist is designed to surface useful, expert recommendations for things to buy across the vast e-commerce landscape. Every product is independently selected by our team of editors, whom you can read about here. We update links when possible, but note that deals can expire and all prices are subject to change.
